BODILY FLUIDS: (CUM)PILATION

Is an investigation into self-discovery by testing ones limits of ejaculation, trauma, and spiritual transformation. In this ongoing body of work, BODILY FLUIDS: (CUM)PILATION: is a living mosiac documenting ADÉX’s HIV journey. In this series he uses his seminal fluid in his art to disrupt our preconceived notions about procreation, pleasure, deviant expression, and going viral. Since 2021, ADÉX has created over 70 pieces of art in this living body of work.

Four selected images will be on display during the Fierte Montreal 2024 pride festivities. The photo-exhibit is a PhD project by Yannick Gaudette: Beyond shame and pleasure: The affective experiences of people practicing PnP/chemsex.
